These terms govern your use of Boat Safety Hub (boatsafetyhub.uk), operated by Towpath Digital Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. By using this platform, you agree to these terms.
2. The Service
Boat Safety Hub is a directory platform that connects boat owners with verified Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) examiners across the UK. We provide:
- A searchable directory of BSS examiners
- Examiner profiles with ratings and reviews
- Enquiry and contact tools
- Dashboard tools for examiners (job management, invoicing, customer management)
- A customer portal for boat owners
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Towpath Digital Limited reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Examiner Listings
Examiners listed on Boat Safety Hub are independent professionals. Towpath Digital Limited does not employ, endorse, or guarantee the work of any examiner. We verify basic credentials but are not responsible for the quality of inspections or services provided.
Examiners are responsible for ensuring their profile information, qualifications, and coverage areas are accurate and up to date.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Examiner subscription tiers are available at prices displayed on the platform. Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time — your listing will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Towpath Digital Limited reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
6. Reviews
Reviews must be genuine and based on real experiences. We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove reviews that are:
- Fraudulent or misleading
- Defamatory, abusive, or offensive
- Submitted by someone with no genuine connection to the examiner
7. Limitation of Liability
Boat Safety Hub is provided "as is". Towpath Digital Limited is not liable for:
- The actions, omissions, or quality of work of any examiner
- Any loss or damage arising from use of the platform
- Interruptions to service availability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and branding on Boat Safety Hub is owned by Towpath Digital Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
